On January 1st 2026 we officially started a new project called SLP_Ade, a joint project between the FZJ ICE-2 system analysis group, FACT and siz energieplus, which overlaps with the organisations working on QuaSi.

The project focuses on improving the quality and availability of demand profiles for the use of electricity, hot water, heating and cooling, as well as occupancy and electric vehicle charging profiles for residential buildings and districts and a variety of small and medium enterprises. The methodology is based on training AI models with simulation data generated by the established tool LoadProfileGenerator for the behavioural simulation of people.
